Got Your Admit Card? The Real Battle Starts Now

Receiving your official Agniveer Admit Card is a moment of pride, but it also begins the final countdown to rally day. While you focus on your morning 1.6 KM timing, neglecting simple medical hygiene or posture issues can lead to an instant Temporary Rejection (TR) that takes weeks of hospital appeals to resolve.

1. Professional Ear Wax Removal (7 Days Before Rally)

Accumulated cerumen (ear wax) prevents the Armed Forces ENT Specialist from visualizing your tympanic membrane (ear drum). If the Medical Officer cannot clearly inspect the ear drum to rule out perforation, you receive an immediate TR.

Action Step: Visit a qualified ENT doctor 5 to 7 days before your rally for gentle syringe cleaning or manual removal. Never use sharp hairpins or cotton swabs that could rupture the ear canal.

2. 14 Dental Points & Oral Hygiene

Candidates must possess a minimum of 14 Dental Points out of a maximum 22 points. Missing molars, uncleaned tartar (calculus), severe gingivitis, or untreated deep cavities will lead to dental rejection.

Action Step: Get a professional dental cleaning (scaling) and fill any cavities at least 10 days before reporting to the ground.

3. Skin Hygiene & Hyperhidrosis (Sweaty Palms)

Severe fungal infections (tinea cruris), untreated ringworm, or excessive sweating of palms (hyperhidrosis) are strictly noted during physical inspection. Sweaty palms can interfere with weapon grip and rifle handling.

Action Step: Keep feet and groin areas clean and dry with anti-fungal powders if training in humid climates.

4. Tattoos Inspection as per Armed Forces Policy

Permanent body tattoos are permitted only on the inner face of forearms (from inside of elbow to wrist) and on the reverse side of the palm/back (dorsal) side of the hand. Tattoos on the chest, neck, face, or back are strictly non-negotiable grounds for permanent disqualification.

5. Postural Pre-Screening (Knock-Knees & Carrying Angle)

Stand straight in front of a mirror with bare feet. Check if your inner knee bones collide before your inner ankle bones touch. If the gap between your ankles exceeds 5 cm when knees touch, you have Knock-Knees (Genu Valgum) and need corrective stretching before medical inspection.

Pre-Screen on AgniFit: Upload your posture photos directly to AgniFit AI Pre-Screening to receive a structured readiness report benchmarked against official military standards.
